My friend Haruni

Haruni is my friend. He is our guard. That means he stays at our house and keeps us safe. He also feeds the dogs and takes care of the chickens. When dad comes home, Haruni helps me open the gate. I like Haruni because he plays soccer with me.

Haruni has a son named Ramadani. Ramadani is really smart but Haruni didn't have enough money to pay for Ramadani to go to school. Dad helped pay for Ramadani's school fees. When Ramadani took his test, there were 60 other kids who took the test with him. Only 2 kids did better than Ramadani. I think Ramadani is going to be a doctor someday. Maybe he will find the cure for AIDS.

Visiting the snake park was GREAT!! There were big, scary snakes. I liked them. My dad even held a baby croc. Renson dropped the snake. The man told him, "that was VERY BAD BEHAVIOR."

Dad took some of the new missionaries to see the waterfall. It was a fun day. I hiked for a while and dad carried me part of the way. I have a great dad. Someday I want to be just like him.
This is Benjamin's blog. He doesn't really write it himself since he is only 3 and just now learning his letters but he's getting big fast....these are the stories of his life in Africa.
